How and where do we get our marriage licence?
You must provide your officiant with your marriage license before you are legally allowed to get married. It's a simple, however, very important process. Below are links to the Ada and Canyon county web pages that address how and where to obtain your marriage license.

What religion are your ceremonies?
Great question! My wedding ceremonies are non-denominational. The ceremonies that I write can be religious if you choose, however, my ordination does not affiliate me with any specific faith. I have performed ceremonies that have God as a central focus as well as ones that have been not religious at all, with the focus on nature as the binding element.
Can we write our own wedding vows?
Absolutely! I welcome couples to write their own vows if they so choose. I have sample vows available for couples to look at for ideas if needed. If you would like to use prepared vows, we can look at a selection of vows that range from traditional to unique.
What will you wear when performing the wedding ceremony?
That's entirely up to you. I will try to blend into your ceremony as much as possible. I usually wear a white shirt with a tie under a vest, but I can wear more formal attire, such as a suit, or more casual attire, such as an open collar or more casual shirt. We can discuss this at our informational meeting.
Is counseling required before our wedding?
No, I do not require counseling prior to performing your wedding. Rather, I will meet with you several weeks or months before your ceremony so that we can discuss the important elements of your relationship that you would like included in the ceremony.
Will you give us a draft of the ceremony?
If you would like a draft of the ceremony before your wedding date to review, I am happy to provide one. If you would like me to give you a draft as a keepsake after the wedding, that's great, too! I can provide it via email or bring a second copy to the wedding, whatever you prefer.
